Gardener/Groundsman

The role is casual role Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance the appearance of the landscaping including the lawns, gardens, trees and other grounds maintained by Golden Cockerel
• General gardening and grounds maintenance including but not limited to – mowing, spraying weeds, blowing and/or sweeping of leaves, maintaining gardens, watering, trimming, pruning, planting.
• Cleaning external cobwebs from buildings and other structures on the property
• Cleaning drains
• Cleaning up and picking up of general external rubbish around the property
• Cleaning windows
• General external cleaning of buildings and structures using hoses and pressurised water equipment
• Pick up & delivery of maintenance parts and other items offsite and onsite as directed
• Maintain and perform minor repairs to grounds maintenance equipment
• Reporting identified issues including hazards and incidents
• Other general external maintenance tasks as directed

Minimum Education/Qualifications/Experience:

• Current open drivers license
• Experience in landscaping, gardening and grounds maintenance
• Experience with grounds maintenance equipment – motorized and non-motorized
• Basic level of knowledge in small engine equipment maintenance
• Time management skills
• Ability to follow directions and work independently
