About the Role:

We're seeking an exceptional security leader to head our integrated Security Operations function at Sekuro. This role combines leadership of our Threat Detection & Response (TDR) and Counter Adversary Operations (CAO) teams, driving excellence across our 24x7 global security operations. As the final escalation point for critical security incidents and leader of teams across Australia, Europe, Asia, and North America, you'll shape the future of our security operations while ensuring exceptional client outcomes.

Security Operations Excellence

You'll lead our comprehensive security operations, combining reactive incident response with proactive threat hunting and detection engineering. Your expertise will ensure we deliver outstanding security outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of service delivery.

Global Team Leadership

Build and nurture world-class security teams across multiple regions and time zones. You'll create an environment where security professionals thrive, innovate, and deliver exceptional results while maintaining 24x7 operational excellence.

What You'll Do:

Security Operations Leadership

· Drive integrated TDR and CAO operations across global teams

· Ensure achievement of critical SLAs and performance metrics

· Provide final escalation point for complex security incidents

· Champion continuous improvement in detection and response capabilities

· Lead threat hunting and intelligence integration initiatives

People Leadership

· Build and develop high-performing security teams across multiple regions

· Create career progression frameworks and development opportunities

· Foster a culture of security excellence and innovation

· Drive engagement and retention through effective leadership

· Manage global teams across different time zones and cultures

Operational Excellence

· Maintain superior client satisfaction and service quality

· Drive detection engineering and use case development

· Ensure effective threat intelligence integration

· Lead service improvement initiatives

· Manage resource capacity and team utilization

What You'll Bring:

· 15+ years in security operations with 8+ years in leadership roles

· Deep expertise in SOC operations, threat hunting, and detection engineering

· Strong background in MXDR service delivery

· Advanced security certifications (CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, or equivalent)

· Proven track record in leading global security teams

· Excellence in stakeholder management and client relationships

· Flexibility to work across multiple time zones

· Strong focus on client satisfaction and service quality
