This role involves managing a book of complex priority accounts/projects, predominantly in the energy transition space, driving growth, profitability, and client satisfaction.
As a trusted advisor to clients, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships, pursuing new business opportunities, and expanding the range of Marsh products and services. Additionally, you will provide guidance to team members to help achieve results.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic advice, innovation, and thought leadership
- Retain and expand a book of mid-sized, high-yield accounts
- Counsel and develop a team of insurance professionals
- Conduct research to gather essential information for account development
- Drive account and portfolio expansion strategies
- Lead the development of custom solutions for client needs
- Administer performance appraisals and serve as a coach for the team
- Participate in industry events and conferences to build a strong professional network
Requirements:
- Robust experience in commercial insurance and risk consulting
- Strong market relationships and negotiation skills
- Insurance broker's license
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of the energy transition space and associated insurance market
Desired Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in insurance broking
- Sound understanding of business and organizational risk management
- Prior experience managing complex account portfolios
- Thorough knowledge of insurance and strategic client engagement
- Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills
- Tier 1 FSRA Compliance (essential) and tertiary qualification (highly regarded)
