Overview

Group Colleges Australia (GCA), trading as UBSS, is a leading independent higher education provider and offers MBA and Bachelor of Business programs to a diverse, global student community.

As we prepare for our Trimester 3 intake, we are seeking dynamic and engaging casual Lecturers and Tutors with academic and/or industry experience to teach 1-2 units in the following disciplines:

• Accounting (e.g. Financial Reporting, Management Accounting, Auditing, Taxation)
• Business Studies (e.g. Marketing, Management, Economics, Entrepreneurship)
• Information Technology (e.g. Digital Business, Business Intelligence, Cybersecurity in Business)
• Law (e.g. Business Law, Corporate Law, Commercial Law)

What We're Looking For

We seek tertiary educators with a passion for teaching and a commitment to student success. Ideal candidates will:

• Hold doctorate qualifications in one of the above disciplines
• Have prior experience teaching in higher education, particularly in multicultural and diverse settings, including international students
• Demonstrate a proven track record in using innovative teaching methodologies tailored to adult learners
• Exhibit exceptional communication and engagement skills to foster high student interaction and participation
• Be highly literate and self sufficient with technology, including Learning Management Systems (LMSs), preferably Moodle, online delivery systems and Microsoft 365
• Ability to start teaching from 9 September 2025

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver interactive and inspiring lectures and tutorials using contemporary teaching methods, both in-person and online synchronous (for lecturing component).
• Provide structured learning experiences and timely student feedback to support academic growth and in the marking of assessments.
• Contribute to curriculum development and assessment.
• Efficiently utilise the Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other technologies for content management, program delivery and to enhance flexible learning.
• Maintain compliance with TEQSA and organisational academic standards and policies.
