West Coast Conveyor Services (WCCS), in partnership with the Reliable Conveyor Belt Group of Companies, is an independent, Australian-owned business with branches across Western Australia and New South Wales.

Since 1973, our group has built a strong reputation for reliability, safety, and excellence in conveyor system installation and maintenance.

Due to continued growth, we're expanding our FIFO Field Service Team and looking for Conveyor Technicians (Belt Splicers), both entry level and experienced, to join our team.

The Role – What You'll Do
  • Install, splice, repair, and maintain conveyor belt systems
  • Conduct shutdown and maintenance work across WA mining and industrial sites
  • Perform inspections, reporting, and preventative servicing
  • Work safely in line with company and client procedures
  • Collaborate with a skilled team that delivers quality results every time

Who We're Looking For

Entry Level:

  • Strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude
  • Enjoys hands-on, physical work in a trade environment
  • Keen to learn a specialised, high-demand trade
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented

Experienced:

  • Proven experience in conveyor belt splicing, installation, or maintenance
  • Certificate III in Polymer Processing (Belt Splicing) or currently completing it
  • Confident working independently and mentoring others
  • Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

The Essentials
  • Manual driver's licence (HR an advantage)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
  • FIFO roster and travel flexibility (flights, accommodation, and meals provided)
  • Forklift, Working at Heights, Confined Space, Dogging, or Rigging tickets – advantageous but not essential
  • Must hold Australian work rights (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)
