To continue our success, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a National Import Planner - Fixed term 12 month contract role. This role focuses on driving sales growth by maintaining optimal stock levels, managing short-term capacity, and supporting the national Supply Chain function through reporting and analysis to improve planning performance and efficiency. It also involves collaborating with stakeholders to enhance reporting systems for better data availability and quality insights.

Key Responsibilites:

  • Supply Chain Reporting & Projects - Prepare daily reports such as stock status, dispatch accuracy, warehouse unloading schedules, import inventory, and national stock; support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • KPI Tracking - Maintain and publish KPI trackers, report on Low Code action items, and analyze root causes of KPI misses to mitigate service risks.
  • Production & Logistics Planning - Manage third-party/co-manufactured SKUs, maintain target stock levels, and plan short- and medium-term production capacity to meet service and cost targets.
  • Coordination & Deployment - Work closely with supply, warehouse, and distribution teams to execute stock transfers and ensure timely delivery without service impact.
  • Import/Export Management - Track all import/export deliveries and shipping/vessel volume projections to prevent disruptions.
  • Backup & Scheduling Support - Provide backup for site planning and deliver efficient production schedules aligned with AOP cost targets and high customer service levels.

About you:

  • Education/Experience: Degree in Business, Commerce, Management, Engineering, or Supply Chain (APICS preferred) with 2+ years in manufacturing or supply chain.
  • Communication: Strong ability to interact effectively across all management levels.
  • Independence: Capable of working unsupervised to meet tight deadlines and targets.
  • Collaboration: Builds strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Process Improvement: Skilled in enhancing processes for greater capability and efficiency.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP, financial modeling, intermediate Excel, and report writing.
