Vac Truck Operators & Confined Space Labourers

Roster: casual 45-60 hours per week.

Location: Whyalla, SA

About the role

We are seeking experienced Vacuum Truck Operators and Confined Space Labourers/Hose Technicians for ongoing work in Whyalla, SA. Shifts are up to 12 hours with penalty rates applicable.

Skills and experience

  • Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets current within the last 2 years.
  • High Pressure Water Jetting ticket preferred.
  • Valid Drivers Licence (HR preferred).
  • Mining/Processing site experience.
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
  • Immediate availability.
  • Local only – no accommodation provided.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Operating vacuum trucks for confined space vacuum loading, ensuring safe and efficient removal of materials in challenging environments.
  • Responsible for water jetting tasks to clean and prepare various surfaces within the facility, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Working in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, you will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency and safety during the shutdown project.
