Account Director
in
Sydney
on behalf of a leading agency known for building social-first brands and driving culturally resonant creator partnerships for some of the world's most recognisable FMCG businesses.

About the Role

As
Account Director
, you will own and grow key client relationships across high-profile FMCG brands, acting as a strategic partner and trusted advisor. You'll oversee the development and delivery of social-first, creator-led campaigns while leading a cross-functional team spanning creative, production, strategy, and talent partnerships.

Your remit will be both strategic and commercial: shaping campaign thinking, guiding creators and internal teams, managing profitability, and unlocking account growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and nurture senior client relationships across key FMCG accounts
  • Set strategic direction across campaigns and social programmes
  • Oversee and mentor account, strategy, creative, and delivery teams
  • Ensure work is insight-driven, culturally relevant, and commercially sound
  • Guide creator selection, partnerships, and creative storytelling
  • Present compelling campaign narratives and reports to senior stakeholders
  • Own revenue forecasting, budget management, and account growth strategies
  • Identify new opportunities to deepen or expand client engagements
  • Stay ahead of cultural, platform, and consumer behaviour shifts

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years' experience
    in account leadership, digital marketing, or integrated brand roles
  • Proven experience leading
    FMCG
    or consumer brand clients
  • Deep understanding of
    creator / influencer ecosystems
    and social-first marketing
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to translate cultural insights into creative solutions
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and revenue models
  • Confident communicator and presenter with gravitas in the room
  • A leader who inspires teams and builds collaborative, positive working environments
  • Someone genuinely energised by culture, the internet, and how brands shape conversations
