Auto Electrician

1. About the role

Dongolocking Auto Electrician and Air Conditioning, is seeking for an immediate start, a skilled and experienced Auto Electrician to join our team in Dumbleyung, Western Australia located 3 hours south east from Perth cbd.
2. This full-time role is integral to the smooth operation of our automotive repair and maintenance business, where you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical and air conditioning services for our valued customers.
3. We are workshop based with 2 brand new work utes fully set up ready to go for the upcoming harvest season breakdowns where you'll spend most of the time on the road from October to January.
4. A small community with a large scale of work across the great southern/ wheatbelt. Closest big towns are katanning 70km, lake grace 60km, Narrogin 90km.

What you'll be doing

1. Diagnosing and repairing complex electrical issues in vehicles of all makes and models. Including cars, utes, trucks, buses, ag machinery, civil, boats, caravans and much more
2. Some exposure to agricultural machinery electrical systems would be helpful given the variety of equipment serviced
3. Installing, servicing and repairing automotive air conditioning systems Conducting thorough vehicle inspections and identifying any electrical or air conditioning faults
4. Refrigerant handling licence (ARC) is required immediately for this position
5. Maintaining detailed records of all work carried out and parts used using our job card app (tradify)

What we're looking for

1. Formal qualifications in automotive electrical and air conditioning systems, such as a Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology
2. Minimum 3 years' experience as an auto electrician, preferably in a similar workshop environment
3. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex electrical and air conditioning issues
4. Pride in your work and keeping our customers happy
5. Prepared to work big hours for big pay
6. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and understandable way
7. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
8. A current driver's licence
9. C Class (car) driver's licence is required for this position
10. Full Australian working rights are required for this position

What we offer

This job will include a private farm house for single, couple, married or family. a brand new work Ute, power and water fuel all paid for.

Over time, double time and super all paid weekly.
