North Sydney Council, Australia NOAH Connect Pty Ltd Full time $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Senior Consultant / Manager – R&D Tax Incentive (R&DTI)

NOAH Connect | Sydney or Remote | Full-time

Are you ready to elevate your R&D tax career with a firm that values strategic thinking, deep technical expertise, and commitment to quality?

NOAH Connect
is on the lookout for a
Senior Consultant or Manager
to join our experienced and high-performing team of R&D tax specialists. With a growing national client base spanning spacetech, biotech, agritech, clean energy, software/AI, engineering and more, you'll have the opportunity to work with some of Australia's most innovative businesses — and help shape the future of our firm.

This isn't your standard consulting role. At NOAH Connect, you'll step into a small and highly skilled team — contributing directly to team development, client management and strategy, and business growth. We're looking for someone who's passionate about the R&DTI program, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is ready to make a lasting impact.

What you'll do:

·       Manage end-to-end delivery of R&D Tax Incentive claims, from initial scoping and eligibility assessment to preparation of the RDTI Application and R&D expenditure calculations for the RDTI Schedule

·       Presentation of the program eligibility criteria to a range of stakeholders

·       Provide advice on record keeping and compliance across technical and financial components

·       Act as the primary contact for a portfolio of innovative clients — providing expert technical and strategic advice. You'll be working directly with technical and financial managers, business owners, and C-suite executives

·       Stay ahead of legislative changes in the R&DTI space and translate insights into value-added strategies for clients and the business.

What's in it for you:

·
Diverse client base
from traditional sectors to the cutting-edge, and early stage start-ups to multi-nationals

·
Supportive, high-trust culture
that encourages initiative, ownership, and professional growth.

·       Learn from a highly experienced team with 80+ years combined experience

·       Flexible working arrangements – remote or hybrid – with a national team.

·       Competitive salary package and performance incentives.

·       Ongoing CPD, training, and industry engagement

·       Exposure to the other services we offer in the government funding space

What we're looking for:

· years' experience delivering R&DTI claims

·       Deep understanding of the
Australian R&D Tax Incentive program
and compliance requirements.

·       Strong technical writing and analytical skills

·       Experience in analysing company financial and cost reports

·
Strong attention to detail and ability to self-check

·
Excellent project management skills including the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks and priorities to meet strict deadlines

·       Confident communicator with proven client-facing experience.

·       A natural collaborator with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

·       Experience in regulatory reviews/audits would be highly regarded

·       Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law, Science, Engineering, or similar.
