About Us

For over 15 years, this business has been a trusted manufacturer aluminium windows and doors to the residential building industry. As a Storeperson, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the smooth operation of despatch from stock control, inwards goods, receipting, deliveries, checking of paperwork and making sure all items have been delivered.

This role is suited to a semi-retired  or part time person who has flexible working hours of 20 hours per week. i.e.: 5  days per week at 4 hours per day or 4 days a week at 5 hours per day.

This role is a Temp to Perm ongoing role, with potential for you to transfer onto the customers payroll after a successful 6-month probation period.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Ensure all despatch processes are efficient and to the highest quality standards
  • Load and unload of deliveries operating a forklift
  • Monitor work schedules and ensure on-time completion of tasks
  • Maintain a safe and organised work environment
  • Collaborate with production manager to optimise despatch processes
  • Identify and report any quality or safety issues
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress and improvements

Experience & Qualifications

  • Warehouse, Distribution or Manufacturing background
  • Stock control, cycle counts, stock takes and operate a computer
  • Handle raw materials i.e.: glass, aluminium, hardware or timber
  • Current forklift license, communication skills with attention to detail
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Safety-conscious with a proactive approach to workplace safety
