About the opportunity

We are currently seeking applications from highly motivated experienced Registered Psych nurses who would like to join our Mental Health team at Werribee Mercy Hospital (WMH) on a Casual basis to provide backfill for staff shortfalls and leave.

• To provide best practice patient care as a pivotal member of the multidisciplinary hospital team
• To provide backfill for staff shortfall and leave across all shifts as allocated
• Regularly accept and work a minimum of two (2) casual shifts per month

To thrive in this role, you will have:

• Be registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Have a minimum of 2 years experience within a relevant area
• Be committed to the delivery of a high standard of person centered care.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of best service user outcomes.
• Strong critical thinking skill and clinical knowledge with the ability to advocate for the service user.
• Excellent and effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to commit to at least 2 shifts per fortnight across a rotating roster.
• You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

• A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.

• Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
