Cleaning Officer

Location - Bowen

Permanent / Full Time

Base remuneration commencing at $66,472.36 per annum

The Whitsunday Regional Council is situated at the heart of the Great Barrier Reef. The region encompasses the 74 tropical Whitsunday Islands, the coastal towns of Cannonvale, Airlie Beach, Jubilee Pocket, Shute Harbour and Bowen along with the rural towns of Proserpine and Collinsville. The Whitsunday region offers a dynamic environment and is perfectly placed to live, work, play and invest.

The Role

Based in Bowen, the Cleaning Officer will be responsible for ensuring all Whitsunday Regional Council operated public amenities and facilities are clean and well maintained. Council is seeking applications for this permanent, full-time position, which operates over a Monday to Friday, 9-day fortnight.

Essential

  1. C Class Drivers Licence.
  2. Commercial cleaning experience.
  3. Level of fitness in order to successfully complete physical requirements of the role.

Desirable

  1. First Aid Certificate.
