Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Associate Nurse Unit Manager (Cath Lab) to join our growing team on a part-time or full-time ongoing basis.
This leadership role supports the Nurse Unit Manager in managing day-to-day operations of the Cath Lab, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality nursing care in line with LRH standards and the Australian Cardiac Society guidelines. The ANUM will demonstrate clinical leadership, foster team collaboration, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

The role of the Associate Nurse Unit Manager (Cath Lab) is:
- Support the delivery of safe and competent nursing care for all perioperative patients.
- Assist the Nurse Unit Manager in the operational and clinical management of the Cath Lab.
- Demonstrate leadership and promote a positive team culture within the unit.
- Ensure compliance with relevant clinical standards, policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the implementation of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS).
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- Registered Nurse Division 1 with current AHPRA registration.
- Competent in Basic Life Support (Advanced Life Support desirable).
- Recent leadership or management experience in a clinical setting.
- Proven experience in Cardiac Cath Lab nursing.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
- Graduate Diploma or Masters in Nursing Management (desirable).
- Ability to scrub/scout for procedures and knowledge of surgical sterility (desirable).

Now is an exciting time to join the LRH team, with the $223.5 million expansion completed in March 2024, offering improved maternity and paediatric facilities, larger intensive care unit, increased medical and surgical beds and additional operating theatres.
