About the role

As a Vac Truck Operator at On Point Utility Locating Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient operation of our specialised vacuum excavation equipment. Based in Wetherill Park, NSW, this full-time position requires you to operate our state-of-the-art vac trucks to safely expose underground utilities for our construction industry clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely operate and maintain our vacuum excavation trucks to locate and expose underground services
  • Provide accurate and detailed records of site activities and findings
  • Be able to utilise civil equipment such as compactors and demo saws
  • Collaborate with the wider team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 years' experience operating vacuum excavation trucks or similar plant and machinery
  • Strong understanding of underground utility detection and locating techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Current HR driver's licence
  • Construction Industry White Card
