The Opportunity

SEE Group have a great career opportunity available for a Storeperson to join our highly professional and skilled Fleet Maintenance team. This is a diverse and fast-paced role, full-time opportunity based predominantly in Orange, NSW at a major mining project. You'll work closely with teams across Fleet and Civil Operations to ensure the smooth intake-outtake of machinery parts, assisting with daily operations to ensure smooth running of the workshop.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out general stores receipt and dispatch duties and be responsible for accurate and timely record and ordering of all stores items.
  • Arrange for collection and delivery of equipment and stores.
  • Lift, carry, unpack, load and unload supplies by hand or mechanical means.
  • Check quantities of unpacked supplies against delivery notes and purchase orders.
  • Maintain and clean workshop yard.
  • Ensure stocked parts are adequately maintained and replenished ensuring continuous supply.

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Background in Stock Control, Purchasing or Warehousing
  • Clear understanding of excellence in customer service
  • Proven management skills, practices and planning ability
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and maintaining focus on priorities
