Senior Pig Farm stockpeople required for progressive pig farms.

We require Senior Pig Farm stockpeople for our modern family-owned pig farms. We are looking for enthusiastic team players to assist in meeting our production objectives on our pig farms.

This is a full-time permanent position, with weekend rostered duties.

This is an opportunity to join our high performing pig farm teams and contribute to our pig farms operations. The role will provide opportunity to work in either our breeding, birthing or weaner and grower facilities. This role will allow skilled and motivated individuals for further future career growth.

Suitable Candidates must:

  • Preferably have at least 3 years of Australian pig farm experience;
  • Have previous experience in farrowing and breeding or other pig farm operations.
  • Be able to supervise and train other pig farm staff as required.
  • Be able to follow procedures and follow industry codes of practice.
  • Be committed to upholding the highest levels of animal welfare and bio-security;
  • Be committed to training and professional development;
  • Have a positive attitude and be able to work in a team.
  • You will need good communication skills and problem solving abilities.
  • Be available to work rostered weekends and public holidays;
  • Be physically fit and able to cope with the physical demands of the role;
  • Machinery skills would be an advantage.

Further ongoing training on the job will be provided. A keen and willing attitude is vital.
