Well regarded National law firm who provides exceptional legal advice to its commercial and government clients. They have offices across the country and are a recognized Employer of Choice in the Australasian Lawyer Employer of Choice awards for multiple years.

The opportunity

Work directly with a Partner recognised for their expertise in the 2025 edition of the Best Lawyers in Australia, you will be;

  • Conducting litigation in the Planning and Environment Court
  • Drafting infrastructure agreements and statutory instruments, including local laws and planning schemes
  • Offering comprehensive legal advice on planning, environmental, and local government matters
  • Advising project proponents on the execution of major developments
  • Managing and mentoring junior lawyers to enhance their skills
  • Engaging in continuous professional development at a leading Melbourne firm

Exceptional Legal Professional Required

You will have;

  • PQE4+ with demonstrated experience in planning and environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle competing deadlines and deliver work on time
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
  • Previous exposure to business development and a appetite to build strong client relationships
  • Effective communicator who can relate to individuals at all levels and collaborate well in a team
  • Practical, client-focused problem-solving abilities
  • Clear and straightforward communication style
