About the role

As a Food Services Team Leader your responsibilities for the day to day running of the department will include:

• Staff management
• Resource allocation
• Ordering/procurement
• Food safety
• Quality and functional supervision
• Providing leadership and direction to the team to compliment the strategic direction, operational processes, budget and business direction of the hospital

Essential criteria

• Experience in a supervisory/leadership role within a kitchen or Healthcare facility or hotel environment
• Leadership capability to develop staff in delivering exceptional service
• Demonstrated commitment towards quality improvement
• Highly developed interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Experience in rostering, staffing, and supervision of staff
• Handle enquiries and resolve complaints
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in an organised manner
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Role would suit experienced hospitality supervisor
