About the Role

This is a key planning role where creativity meets commercial insight. You'll work closely with our Buying, eCommerce, and Finance teams to optimise product performance, maximise profitability, and ensure our customers find what they love — when they want it.

What You'll Do:

• Develop, manage and execute merchandise plans to deliver sales, margin, and inventory targets.
• Partner with Buying to build a strategic seasonal range based on data-driven insights.
• Extract and interpret historical data to forecast demand, future sales trends, adapting forecasts based on changing market conditions and sales performance.
• Track sales performance, highlighting trends and opportunities in real-time.
• Develop promotional and markdown strategies to drive revenue, enhance margin, and reduce excess inventory.
• Partner with the CFO to align financial goals with business strategies and buying plans.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to the planning team to foster professional development and drive continuous improvement.
• Champion a culture of collaboration, accountability, and data-driven decision-making within the team and mentor our existing Planner to build a pipeline of high-performing talent.
• Monitor inventory flow and ensure optimal stock levels across online channels.
• Provide ongoing analysis and reporting to influence trading decisions and markdown strategies.
• Drive OTB planning and WSSI management, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
• Identify risks and opportunities, propose solutions, and take proactive action to drive results.
• Stay informed about competitor activities, industry trends, and retail best practices to ensure strategic adjustments for maintaining competitiveness and to capitalise on emerging opportunities.
• Leverage planning systems, software and AI to enhance planning accuracy and efficiency.

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years' experience at a planner level role, ideally within fashion and ecommerce
• Strong understanding of sales, margin, stock, and demand planning
• Experienced in high-volumes of data SKUs and weekly cycles
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with planning systems
• Analytical mindset with a flair for turning numbers into strategy
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of customer buying behaviour
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
• Previous experience in fashion retail or ecommerce
