We provide integrated place management for Roma Street Parkland, South Bank Parklands, Victoria Park/Barrambin, Anzac Square, Post Office Square, and Newstead House on behalf of Brisbane City Council and the Queensland Government. As the trusted custodians of these iconic destinations, we are committed to managing, enhancing, and activating these spaces with care, efficiency, and creativity.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Communications and Marketing Specialist to join our team in a permanent full-time role, based in our city office in Queen Street, Brisbane. This role is part of a dynamic Marketing & Communications team who are responsible for delivering strategic communications and marketing initiatives that promote City Parklands and its managed places and events.

Key capabilities:

  • Strategic Communications: Develop and deliver comprehensive communications strategies for projects, events and precincts, ensuring alignment with City Parklands' objectives and managed brands.
  • Media and Issues Management: Manage external PR agencies to ensure effective media relations and achieve event and project KPIs. Lead reactive media responses in collaboration with Brisbane City Council and coordinate responses to public feedback on events, spaces, and initiatives.
  • Corporate Communications: Deliver corporate communications initiatives, including preparing strategic content for award submissions and bid documents, positioning City Parklands as an industry leader.
  • Marketing Coordination: Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns to promote City Parklands' events, spaces, and initiatives in accordance with procurement processes and agreed budgets.
