With expertise spanning process engineering, hydrometallurgy, hydrogeology, water management, and owner engineering services, we focus on in-situ recovery (ISR) mining and innovative extraction technologies. Our team, with decades of combined experience, provides deep technical knowledge and practical insight at every project development stage, from early assessments to operational optimisation. We serve the mining industry with expertise in process engineering, mine water management, and comprehensive ISR project design.

Role Description

Rendement is seeking a hydrogeologist to work directly alongside and be mentored by our Principal Hydrogeologist. In this role you will conduct fieldwork, manage water resources, assess groundwater conditions, and perform hydrological and geological studies. Day-to-day tasks include aquifer characterization, groundwater-surface water interaction assessments, solute transport modeling, tracer testing, wellfield design and reporting, hydrogeochemical analysis to support mining operations and water management strategies.

We are a small consulting firm working on a diverse range of projects with our key clients. In this role you will be exposed to a number of interesting projects and have the opportunity to expand your skillset and follow your passion.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
  • Field Work, Groundwater, and Water Resource Management skills
  • Experience in Hydrology and Geology
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
  • Experience in the mining industry is a plus
