Yoga Instructor

The Yoga Place will be introduced to Western Sydney in the next few months and we are looking for expressions of interest from qualified yoga instructors. Our studio's mission is to reintroduce authentic yoga and to create a safe, inclusive and healing space for people to get to know themselves, heal, move and grow as people. We aim to cater to all levels, promote connecting with oneself and listening to your body, and making sure that everyone feels included and seen - that includes POC, all genders, people with physical or mental disabilities, people with sensory issues, people experiencing mental health issues, and much more, because that is one of the core values of true, authentic yoga.

What we are looking for:

• Someone that shares the same values that we've listed above; not someone that's only focused on the physical poses aspect of yoga.
• Someone that is self aware, kind, respectful, inclusive, authentic and empathetic.
• Someone that has at least 200 hours of training (certified with Yoga Alliance)
• Someone that has learnt about authentic yoga principles and shares the same passion towards shedding light on authentic yoga.
• Someone that is truly passionate about yoga and lives and breathes yoga values outside of work - rather than only showing these values in the studio.

• How do you ensure that yoga students have at least a basic understanding of yoga principles whilst teaching an asana class?

We are looking for truly authentic yoga instructors, so please don't stress over making your resume or cover letter look perfect or use AI to provide flawless answers. We want to get to know the real you, and we are open to people that have the right mindset and willingness to grow.

Job Types: Casual, Freelance

Pay: $50.00 – $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 20 per week
