About the role

A Factory Cleaning Attendant is responsible for a range of general cleaning duties across our entire Leeton Processing Plant.

Duties include but not limited to

  • Maintaining the office, amenities, and break rooms
  • Removing general waste and recycling bins
  • Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising
  • Disinfecting common areas
  • Cleaning production equipment including washing production bins
  • Cleaning windows and glass as required
  • Safe handling of cleaning chemicals
  • Any other general cleaning duties as directed

Essential Criteria, Skills and Experience

  • Commitment to safety and understanding of safe cleaning practices
  • Prior cleaning experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to work shift work and weekends
  • Willingness to obtain working at heights/EWP ticket
  • Ability to work at heights

Desirable

  • Prior experience working in a food processing environment

What You Should Know About Our Operations

Our business is widespread, growing walnuts, almonds and bees in the Riverina Region in New South Wales, pecans in Moree and macadamias, avocados and mangoes in Bundaberg, Queensland.

Off the paddock, we operate nut processing and packing facilities in Leeton, Toowoomba and Bundaberg as well as fruit packing and processing in Bundaberg. In addition, our shared services teams (Finance, Sales, ESG, Safety and People & Culture) are located across all of our sites as well as the Brisbane, Melbourne and Griffith offices.
