Beechboro Christian School (BCS), a culturally diverse and growing school located in Bennett Springs, is part of the Swan Christian Education Association (SCEA). BCS provides Christ-centred, values-based education that empowers students to become all God created them to be. We are seeking qualified and enthusiastic Primary Teachers to join our team in a full-time role. Positions are available in both an ongoing and 12 month fixed-term leave cover capacity from the 1st January 2026. You will teach and support Primary students through engaging, differentiated learning, collaborate with staff and families, and actively contribute to the school's Christian community and values.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Teach across the Primary years with a strong understanding of the WA Curriculum, using varied, differentiated strategies to meet individual student needs.
- Plan, deliver, and refine engaging learning programs and assessments that support academic growth and student development.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Foster a positive, well-managed classroom environment and provide appropriate remediation or extension activities.
- Actively contribute to the school community through co-curricular involvement, pastoral care, and participation in school events.
- Model and promote the school's Christian values, engaging in its spiritual, academic, and cultural life while adhering to all school policies.
Selection Criteria:
Essential:
- Have a personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and be an active member of a Christian Church.
- Accept the Association's Statement of Faith, Foundational Statements of Belief and educational objectives and be living a lifestyle consistent with these statements.
- The ability to meet National Professional Standards for Teachers ).
- Working with Children Check and Police clearance.
- Demonstrate experience in teaching Music, or an ability to, within a Primary setting.
Desirable:

- Use a variety of suitable formative and summative assessment strategies with students.
- Familiarity with a variety of teaching and learning strategies to appropriately meet students' needs and course objectives.
- Effective communication with adults and students.
- Competence in the use of technology within a classroom environment.
- Appreciation of the responsibility of the teacher as role model.
- Commitment to the establishment and maintenance of quality relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider community.
