Candy Maker & Packer – Exciting Opportunity

Location: Tullamarine, Melbourne

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7am–3pm (No weekends)

Employment Type: Part-time → Full-time opportunity (Apprentice program: 6 months)

Founded in 2007, Designer Candy is Australia's largest handmade rock candy company. We take pride in creating premium, handcrafted candy and lollipops for retail, corporate, and event customers worldwide. Every candy product is handmade in our factory and showroom in Tullamarine, Melbourne, where a passionate team of confectioners and candy consultants turn creativity into delicious art.


About the Role

We are seeking:

  • An experienced Candy Maker
  • An Apprentice Candy Maker

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our growing team, learn the art of handmade candy, and build a long-term career as a Candy Artisan (Master Candy Maker).

Qualifications & Experience
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to follow product specifications
  • Knowledge of commercial food manufacturing & hygiene standards
  • Strong interest in handicraft and artisan work
  • Physical ability to lift up to 20kg

Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Assist senior Candy Makers / Candy Artisans
  • Manual packing & machine operation
  • Conduct quality checks
  • Follow HACCP food safety practices
