About the Role:
We are seeking a Technical Assessor/Validator to manage the day-to-day activities of our insurer clients in Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for providing building scoping, validation of charges, and assessing the overall viability of projects. You will use our industry-leading platform to validate the builder services via our network or our clients' network. The ideal candidate will have a background in Technical Property Claim Assessing, Building Trade Service and/or Construction sector(s).
Main Activities:
- Triage and allocate service requests to our national specialist network.
- Validate scope, including cost check, methodology auditing, and overall job relevance.
- Manage relationships with builders, insurers, insurance assessors, building estimators, and all other relevant stakeholders involved in a building project.
- Meet and exceed internal validation or project management KPI's, including but not limited to productivity, quality, and accuracy.
- Communicate with our clients to keep them updated on service progress.
- Ensure quality and cost assurance reviews for all building requests.
- Work with the team manager to maintain network performance and capacity.
What You'll Bring:
- 3-5 years of experience and proven abilities in previous Property Claim and/or Construction roles.
- Self-motivation and customer orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Effective time and project management skills.
- Ability to make responsible and effective decisions and communicate efficiently – both written and verbally.
- Capability to meet targets and handle a high-pressure environment.
- Results-driven, striving to meet and exceed our KPI's.
- Applicants with insurance assessing and/or insurance repair, restoration, building trades backgrounds are highly desirable. A Builders License or other Building Qualifications will also be highly regarded.
