Position

Due to continued growth, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Frame & Truss Detailer to join the team at the Brisbane Northside site. This is a technical role that will see you preparing accurate designs and costings for residential and commercial roof trusses, wall frames, and flooring systems, while ensuring all projects meet compliance and customer expectations.

For experienced candidates, hybrid and remote working options are available, offering excellent flexibility while still maintaining strong collaboration with the production and customer service teams.

Responsibilities will include:

* Reading and reviewing architectural/engineering plans to prepare accurate quotes.

* Developing frame and truss designs to manufacture stage.

* Ensuring all work complies with relevant standards and codes of practice.

* Working collaboratively with the production team to deliver projects on time.

* Communicating with builders and customers during planning and construction stages.

* Conducting site inspections where required, relating to supply of frames and materials.

Candidate

The ideal candidate will have prior detailing experience within timber manufacturing and a strong eye for accuracy and compliance. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage customer relationships are essential, alongside the technical expertise to deliver competitive and high-quality solutions.

The key attributes of an ideal candidate would include:

* Strong ability to read and interpret architectural/engineering plans.

* Experience using Multinail or similar frame and truss software.

* Ability to prepare and compare accurate quotes.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

* Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively.
