The role:
Symal have an opportunity for an experience Backhoe Operator based in or around the Newcastle/Hunter region, to join the crew initially based on a civil construction road upgrade project in Cessnock, NSW.

Future projects may include DIDO and LAFH.

Your everyday:

  • Operating a backhoe for a civil construction projects
  • Operating other plant with tickets/VOC
  • General labouring as required
  • Working collaboratively with your Site Manager and team
  • Promoting health and safety protocols on-site

Who are you?

  • More than 3 year's experience operating a Backhoe
  • Experience working on civil infrastructure projects
  • A committed attitude to work as a team and get the job done
  • Tickets to operate other types of plant and machinery
  • A safety-first mindset
  • Valid Driver's License and industry induction cards
  • Willingness to travel and be open to Living Away From Home
