About the Role
Our client, an established player within the resources sector, is seeking an experienced Contracts & Procurement Advisor to join their high-performing team. This position offers the opportunity to drive value across the business by delivering smart sourcing strategies, managing key supplier relationships, and negotiating contracts that balance risk and performance outcomes.
Working closely with stakeholders, you'll oversee the full lifecycle of procurement and contract management activities, ensuring compliance, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of sourcing strategies across a range of categories
- Lead RFx activities, supplier engagement, evaluation, and negotiation processes
- Draft, review, and implement commercial contracts that optimise value while managing risks
- Manage contract variations, extensions, and performance reviews across your portfolio
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement practices meet policy and governance requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in supplier performance and procurement efficiency
About You
- Degree in Business, Commerce or a related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience within an end to end procurement and contracts role
- Strong background in managing procurement packages within the resources, mining, or infrastructure sectors
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ideally a mix of both operations and projects experience
