We are seeking a highly skilled support worker or nurse with high compentency skills (PEG, tracheostomey, non-invasive ventiliation, epilepsy training etc) to work at the highest level of complex community care.

About the role:

An opportunity for an experienced support worker, ideally with a nursing background, to have a role in home care working for complex adult patient who has advanced MND, Tracheostomy, Venitlation, Suction, PEG, and other respiratory requirements.

Multiple shifts available to support this patient who has 24/7 ICU nursing at home. This role is to support the ICU nurse with patient self care, transfers, wound management, pressure care and infection control.

Its a great opportunity for a skilled nurse or support worker who wants to develop their clinical skills to the highest level of complex care.

We are seeking:

  • Experience with high intensity skills; PEG, Ventilation, Tracheosomty
  • Cometant with manual handling and patient self care
  • Female only - patient preferred

  • Those wanting to improve their clincial skills by workig along side the very best trained ICU nurses

You must have;

  • Certificate IV in Disability Services or equivalent or Nursing degree
  • Valid Australian Driver's License
  • Valid CPR Certificate
  • Proof of rights to work in Australia
  • NDIS Worker Screener Check
