About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a casual Gaming & Beverage Attendant to join our team at the Beenleigh RSL & Golf Club in Mount Warren Park. In this role, you will play a key part in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our gaming and beverage offerings.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing friendly and attentive service to our members and guests in the gaming and bar areas
  • Assisting with the operation and maintenance of gaming machines and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
  • Restocking and maintaining the cleanliness of the gaming and bar areas
  • Handling cash and operating point-of-sale systems accurately
  • Promoting and selling Club membership and other products/services
  • Adhering to all health, safety and responsible service of alcohol policies

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, particularly in a gaming or bar environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Familiarity with gaming machine operations and a commitment to responsible gambling practices
  • Good cash handling and point-of-sale system experience
  • A positive, friendly and professional attitude
  • RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification
