SSAF Australia,based in Sunbury,has a vacancy foran experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our staff on a full-time basis for our manufacturing business.

About the Role

An integral part of the business your daily duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Fabricating stainless steel products from supplied drawings
  • Assisting in the manufacturing of conveyors, benches, frames, and other equipment, etc.
  • Cutting, folding, measuring, of sheet metal materials
  • Double checking of your work with a keen eye for fine detail
  • Delivering a high standard of MIG and TIG welding works
  • Weekend availability required and overtime often available

About You

Along with your strong work ethic and previous experience in a similar position you'll have/be:

  • Understanding and ability to work from technical drawings.
  • Ability to TIG & MIG weld stainless steel and aluminium
  • Willing to learn new skills and expand your current skill set
  • Comfortable working within a team environment
  • A current manual drivers' licence & own transport
  • A Forklift and EWP licence is an advantage
