Hoist Rigger

Our client based in Blacktown is looking for riggers for works hoist building works in Sydney. 

Consistent, ongoing work, Monday to Friday with opportunities for overtime. 

The Role:

• Install, operate, and dismantle scaffolding hoists and rigging equipment.
• Maber and GEDA hoists.
• Ensure all hoist operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance of hoisting equipment to ensure reliability and compliance with safety standards.
• Lifting, moving, and securing of heavy loads using hoists.
• Travel allowance paid per occurrence.
• Ongoing work, weekend work on occasion.

To be successful for this position:

• Previous experience in hoist building/erection highly beneficial.
• Candidates with transferrable skills are also encouraged to apply - training to be provided.
• Knowledge of scaffolding materials and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.
• Physical stamina and ability to work at heights.
• Valid rigging High Risk Work License essential (RB, RI, RA)
• A construction/white card
• Steel cap boots, Hi-Vis clothing, hardhat and other relevant PPE.
• Keen to learn and move up in the company
