About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and self‑motivated Retail Assistant for our Macquarie store. In this casual position, you will be driven by delivering exceptional customer service and meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly, understand their needs, and provide attentive service.
  • Collaborate with your team to achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
  • Process sales efficiently using our POS system.
  • Assist in stock management, including receiving and unpacking deliveries (some heavy lifting required).
  • Maintain excellent visual merchandising standards and store presentation.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of one year of retail sales experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build professional relationships and be a supportive team player.
  • Strong communication skills and professional approach.
  • Experience using electronic POS systems.
  • High standard of personal presentation and grooming.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and late-night shifts.
  • Genuine passion for homewares and retail.
