A major bank is currently seeking a Senior DB2 Systems Programmer to join their mainframe team on a permanent basis.

The role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and upgrade DB2 for z/OS using SMP/E.
  • Support DB2 subsystem setup, customization, and performance tuning.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and change management.

Key Skills /Experience;

  • Db2 13 for zOS System and Tools maintenance and support procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with SMP/E for installation and maintenance.
  • DB2 catalog and directory, Db2 Subsystem (DSNZPARM) and application (DSNHDECP) parameters.
  • Backup and Recovery of Catalog, Directory and Tools databases.
