We're on the lookout for a skilled Metal Machinist to join our team in Dalby. If you've got experience working with CNC lathes, a solid trade background, and a strong safety focus, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role

You'll play a key role in producing quality components for the oil and gas industry, including threaded parts and specialised assemblies. Your work will involve:

  • Setting up and operating CNC lathes and manual milling machines
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specs
  • Performing precision machining to tight tolerances
  • Assembling components like ECP/ICP packers using approved jigs and fixtures
  • Conducting maintenance and repair of machine components
  • Completing quality checks and production documentation

What you'll bring

  • Trade qualification (Fitter & Turner or similar)
  • 3+ years of CNC machining experience, ideally in thread manufacturing
  • A strong safety mindset and attention to detail
  • The right to work in Australia
  • Driver's licence

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Forklift licence and First Aid certificate
  • Experience with Fagor CNC controllers or CAD programs
  • Oil and gas industry knowledge
