VitalWorks Rehab is dedicated to transforming recovery and workplace rehabilitation across the South West. Founded by experienced Occupational Therapists with over 20 years of specialised expertise, we identified the need for a holistic and person-centred approach to support both workers and employers through complex injury recovery.

We deliver comprehensive injury management and vocational rehabilitation services under WorkCover WA and private health arrangements. Our mission is to empower individuals to reclaim their professional abilities and improve quality of life through clinical excellence, compassionate care, and strategic workplace integration.

Role Description

We are seeking a Contract Injury Management Consultant (IMC) to join our growing team. This role offers flexibility with remote working and travel across the South West region as required.

The IMC will:

·      Provide expert consultancy in injury management and return-to-work services

·      Conduct workplace assessments (e.g., job task analyses, ergonomic reviews, vocational evaluations).

·      Develop tailored return-to-work and rehabilitation plans in line with WorkCover WA guidelines.

·      Liaise with key stakeholders to facilitate safe, sustainable outcomes

·      Prepare high-quality reports and recommendations for key stakeholders

·      Uphold best practice, evidence-based care while ensuring compassionate and effective client support

Qualifications & Skills

Essential

·      Current registration with AHPRA, ASORC or RCAA (as applicable)

·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·      Strong written communication, including report preparation for multiple stakeholders

·      Ability to work independently and remotely while meeting deadlines

·      Demonstrated commitment to client-centred, evidence-based rehabilitation

·      Experience using case management or rehabilitation software (e.g., iinsight)

Desirable

·      Prior experience delivering services under WorkCover WA or workplace rehabilitation frameworks

·      Knowledge of South West WA workplaces, industries, and community supports

·      A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology or a related allied health discipline.
