About the role:

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic individuals to join our team in Camperdown. In the capacity of a Residential Support Worker, you will provide extensive support to individuals with disabilities within a residential setting, covering tasks such as personal care, meal assistance, hoisting, and transfers.

At Gateways we work on a fortnightly, Week 1/ Week 2 roster, our work weeks run Thursday to Wednesday. Roster details are below:

Line A (28 hours)

Week 1:

Thursday 6am – 9am (3 hours)

Sunday 4pm – 10pm (6 hours) & sleepover

Monday 6am – 9am (3 hours)

Week 2:

Friday 3pm – 10pm (7 hours) & sleepover

Saturday 6am – 8am (2 hours)

Wednesday 3pm – 10pm (7 hours) & sleepover

Line B (38 hours)

Week 1:

Thursday 3pm – 10 (7 hours) & sleepover

Friday 6am – 9am (3 hours)

Saturday 4pm – 10pm (6 hours) & sleepover

Sunday 6am – 8am (2 hours)

Week 2:

Thursday 3pm – 10pm (7 hours) & sleepover

Friday 6am – 9am (3 hours)

Tuesday 3pm – 10pm (7 hours) & sleepover

Wednesday 6am – 9am (3 hours)

Line C (28 hours)

Week 1:

Tuesday 3pm – 10pm (7 hours) & sleepover

Wednesday 6am – 9am (3 hours)

Week 2:

Saturday 4pm – 10pm (6 hours) & sleepover

Sunday 6am – 8am (2 hours)

Monday 3pm – 10pm (7 hours) & sleepover

Tuesday 6am – 9am (3 hours)

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
  • NDIS Workers Orientation Module (certificate of completion)
  • Employee Working with Children Check (Victorian)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate

  • Qualification in Disability, Community Services, Social Work or equivalent (desirable)
