GEM, Private Bill offerHere we find a perfect environment for a women's health or men's health FRACGP/FACRRM seeking comfortable full-time sessions, close to Ipswich. This GEM offer has become available due to natural attrition and a longstanding (full time equivalent) GP retirement. Additionally there are a few other clinics in the Ipswich area which have recently closed.

This clinic is fortunate to provide a stable, experienced practice environment. The successful GP will have the pleasure of working alongside a dedicated team of 5 fellows, a wonderful long-term Practice Manager with a calm nature and strong knowledge of operating a GP clinic, full-time Nursing support and well appointed Reception/Administration. The GPs use Best Practice clinical software and bill to a Private fee schedule, where they can dictate their own fee model.

The draw card for this clinic would be the well rounded support it provides, with lots of flexibility and autonomy of practice, where GPs dictate their own clinic. There is plenty of scope for Procedures, Mirena/IUD and Skin Cancer where not all GPs are able to provide these services daily.

The broader Ipswich region is one of Australia's fastest-growing Local Government Areas and is predicted to have the largest population growth in Queensland over the next 20 years, it also provides for a relatively young population, with a median age of 33 years - which lends towards a family-oriented patient base and a large, diverse full life cycle of patient care.

Ipswich is well known for it's natural and cultural heritage and the city preserves and operates from many of it's historical buildings with more than 5000 heritage listed sites and 500+ parks. Ipswich Grammar School and St Edmund's College, Ipswich are excellent schools.

Requirements:

  • General Practitioners with Specialist/ Vocational Registration (FRACGP, FARGP, FACRRM, FRNZCGP) with AHPRA a must.
