Implementation Specialist

The primary purpose of this role will be to take ownership of assigned projects from inception to go-live. The key aspects include implementation tasks for new product development, software enhancements and software implementation projects in alignment with the agreed operational framework as defined in the department SOPs.

The role also involves pre-sales activities, partnering with sales team for providing solutions during the client acquisition process as the subject matter expert. Takes a lead role with active account management tasks of ImpexDocs clients post implementation.

Reports to the General Manager, Professional Services & Client Success. Liaises with other members of the professional services team to achieve objectives against assigned tasks. Collaborates with sales and IT team to ensure that clients are receiving optimal service levels in a timely, efficient, and effective manner.

• Can lead and manage junior team members providing input in line with internal company objectives & clients business objectives
• Ensures end-to-end quality of ImpexDocs products and services is being met for clients
• Works closely with Sales and IT to have input into identification and development of ImpexDocs software innovations
• Leads & performs requirement discovery exercises, gathering requirements from stakeholders and business representatives
• Leads project management activities, assigns tasks in coordination of implementation project tasks, provides client project updates, performs configuration & development of new & existing product/module/enhancements in collaboration with the Software Development team and support staff
• Functional research on new product concepts, developing requirements and driving task activities to go-live
• Prepare and execute testing plans
• Conduct client training and software demonstrations
• Execute any ad-hoc projects and responsibilities from time-to-time being an agile team for the fast-growing start-up
• Adopting client account management plans with a focus on continuous improvement, perform annual system health checks and maintaining client task activity plans
• Maintain Client Detail in CRM HubSpot

• Applies implementation & project management experience to resolve complex client and project task issues, utilising the expertise of peers
• 5 year's of relevant experience
• Minimum bachelor's degree in IT/Computers/Software
• Demonstrated End-to-End Software Development Life Cycle experience
• Previous experience in Logistics Services (Freight Forwarding, Export/Import) is required
• Previous SaaS product development experience is preferable
• Process mapping and system analysis experience
• Ability to deal with technical teams and hands-on understanding of software integration concepts
• Ability to deal with clients at all levels and translate client needs into a complete solution
• Core thinking and problem-solving skills are developed in the process of delivering essential implementation services

Salary $70,000 - $80,000 AUD
