HSQE Cadet

Ahrens Group is undergoing strong growth and transformation, creating fantastic opportunities to join our expanding HSQE team based in Western Australia. As a HSQE Cadet based at our Naval Base, WA office (with travel required), you'll gain valuable hands-on experience while supporting a range of safety, quality, and environmental initiatives across our diverse operations. This is an ideal role for someone studying or recently qualified in WHS or Environmental disciplines who is looking to build a meaningful career within a dynamic, Australian-owned business that values continuous improvement, learning, and long-term success.

• Previous experience using Skytrust (safety system) desirable
• Currently studying or recently completed qualifications in WHS and/or Environmental Management
• Construction Industry White Card (required)
• Applied First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively
• Basic understanding of document control and HSQE systems
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative in a hands-on environment
• Flexibility to travel to different sites across Western Australia
• Current driver's licence
