ANZCHOG is the national Cancer Cooperative Trials Group (CCTG) for childhood and adolescent cancer clinical trials and conducts a broad range of national and international trials. ANZCHOG is also the Australian and New Zealand peak professional body for paediatric oncologists and other health professionals caring for children and adolescents with cancer and blood diseases. ANZCHOG is a registered charity and not-for-profit organisation.

About the Opportunity
Step into a truly rewarding role within the ANZCHOG National Trials Centre, where your work directly contributes to advancing treatments for children and adolescents with cancer. As part of our dynamic team, you will support the delivery of high-quality clinical trials by performing essential quality assurance activities and conducting on-site and remote monitoring of ANZCHOG studies. You'll work closely with the National Trials Manager, the broader team, and national and international collaborators across a diverse portfolio of Phase I – III paediatric oncology trials in brain cancer, leukaemia/lymphoma and solid cancers. The role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to research that addresses some of the most challenging paediatric cancers.
ABOUT YOU
- Tertiary qualifications in a health-related science or health care discipline.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in clinical trial risk based monitoring or similar.
- Excellent working knowledge of ICH GCP, NHMRC National Statement, other NHMRC guidelines, ethical requirements, and clinical trial processes.
- Experience in Quality Assurance in clinical trials will be highly regarded.
- Experience in Oncology, Radiation Oncology or Haematology clinical trials will be highly regarded.
- Experience working with collaborative group/investigator-initiated trials will be highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
- Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work flexibly across teams and diverse stakeholders.
- Able to manage multiple projects and priorities, working both independently and in a small team environment.
EMPLOYMENT TERMS
This position is a fixed term full time (1.0FTE) contract role. Salary is based on Technical and Professional Scale (TAP 8) dependent on experience. Superannuation of 12% and very attractive salary packaging options are available.
