The Library Student Resources Assistant (Identified) supports students, staff, and the community in accessing the University Library's services and resources. In this role, you will provide high-quality assistance with enquiries, support collection management, digitisation, event preparation, and a range of service activities across library sites.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• assist clients with basic enquiries and locating items
• assist with preparation and delivery of student engagement activities
• support scanning, digitisation, and collection retrieval
• Undertake processing, shelving, tidying, and stocktaking of materials
• assist with collection moves and space management
  provide logistic support and use relevant technologies confidently

Flexibility is essential, as the role works across multiple library locations (including Camperdown/Darlington and the Conservatorium of Music) to support opening and closing operations.

About you

• identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
• knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures
• experience in a library or learning support environment is desirable
• proven capability in delivering excellent customer service
• basic to moderate computer skills in word processing, excel spread sheets and web-based software
• experience contributing to a team, focusing on accomplishing team goals and supporting other team members
• great numeracy skills, and good communication skills to be successful in the role
• must have or be willing to obtain a valid working with children check (WWCC).
