Sales Consultant

About the role

Beaumont Tiles Woolloongabba (Award winning Store) is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Consultant to join our vibrant team. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers at our Woolloongabba / Sumner Park showroom.

What you'll be doing

1. Providing exceptional customer service and product knowledge to our clients
2. Assisting customers in selecting the perfect tiles, bathroom ware and Hard Wood Flooring products to suit their needs and style
3. Handling sales transactions, including processing payments and providing quotes
4. Maintaining a clean and organised showroom to create a welcoming environment
5. Collaborating with the team to achieve store sales targets and individual sales targets
6. Undertaking additional duties as required to support the smooth operation of the store

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience in a retail sales role (not customer service), preferably in the home improvement or interior design industry
2. Minimum of 1-2 years of retail sales experience is required for this position
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and provide exceptional service
4. Excellent product knowledge or a keen interest in tiles, bathroom fittings, and hard wood flooring
5. A team-oriented can do attitude and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
6. Strong numeracy skills and the ability to handle sales transactions accurately
7. A positive, friendly, and helpful demeanour
8. Must be able to work weekends
9. Must be available to work both Saturday and Sunday weekends
10. Must be able to work both stores if required
