Matthew Ely Jewellery is seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice / Junior Jeweller to join our team. This is a rare opportunity to work within a luxury jewellery environment, learning from master jewellers while also developing client-facing skills in our boutique.

About the Role

As an Apprentice / Junior Jeweller, you will:

  • Learn all aspects of fine jewellery making, including bench work, repairs, and bespoke creations.
  • Assist in the boutique, supporting sales and client services.
  • Gain first-hand experience in both the workshop and the retail side of the business.
  • Develop an understanding of gemstones, design processes, and the artistry behind high jewellery.
  • Work closely with clients, learning how to communicate the heritage, collectability, and lifestyle aspects of each piece.

  • Well presented with excellent communication skills.
  • Passionate about jewellery, design, and craftsmanship.
  • Eager to learn and motivated to grow into a highly skilled jeweller.
  • Comfortable engaging with clients and assisting in sales.
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and professional.
