About the Role:
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes and responding to ad hoc People & Culture requests
- Preparing, issuing and managing employment contracts, variation letters and related documentation
- Managing the People & Culture shared inbox and maintaining accurate HRIS and employee records
- Preparing reports to support leaders with compliance, performance, and people metrics
- Coordinating annual award pay rate reviews (and interim adjustments as required), ensuring compliance and accurate updates across systems
- Researching, reviewing and drafting People & Culture policies and procedures
- Providing basic advice to employees and leaders regarding employment terms, conditions and payroll matters
Key Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Ideally studying towards or holding a tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field
- A positive, proactive mindset and a can-do attitude
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and support a wide variety of People & Culture activities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ideally some exposure to HRIS or payroll systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle information sensitively
- Exceptional attention to detail, organisation and follow through
- Strong administration skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to form effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
