A fantastic opportunity has become available for experienced hotel profesionals to join our team at the Mayfair Hotel. The Mayfair Hotel is Adelaide's leading boutique luxury hotel located right in the heart of the CBD.

Since 2015, the Mayfair Hotel has set the standard for luxury accommodation in Adelaide, offering a five-star bespoke experience like no other.

The Mayfair boasts an unmatched location in the heart of the city, breathing new life into the iconic heritage-listed Colonial Mutual Life Building.

We are seeking a Guest Service Agent and Concierge to join our professional team on a casual basis.

About the Role

  • Provide quality service to the customer by responding to their requests promptly, efficiently, and courteously during check-in, check-out and throughout their stay.
  • Maintain control of guest and hotel accounts ensuring that all charges are accurate and posted on a timely basis.
  • Maintain strict security procedures with credit and cash transactions, accounting procedures, issue of room keys and guest confidentiality/privacy
  • Maintain communication channels between hotel guests and all hotel departments both verbally and in writing as required.
  • Document accurately all internal and guest messages.  Distribute according to specified Hotel procedure.
  • Assist, as required to screen calls for reservations.  Ensure accurate, up to date information is given.
  • Use every opportunity to promote hotel facilities and maximise sales through sound product knowledge and selling skills.

About You

  • Experience delivering excellent customer service
  • Experience providing prompt and efficient service including upselling advantageous
  • Familiarity with hotel environment
  • Self-motivated with positive and professional attitude
  • Proven ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and think on your feet
  • Well-presented with a natural ability to build rapport both in person and over the telephone
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Office
