Our home-based salon caters to all breeds and sizes and offers a personalised service tailored to each pet's needs. We are known for providing high quality, one on one grooming services in a calm and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling of dogs according to breed standards and client preferences
- Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment
- Handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with care and patience
- Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming needs and services
- Monitor the health and well-being of animals during grooming sessions
- Maintain grooming equipment and supplies
Requirements
- Previous experience as a dog groomer or completion of a recognized grooming course
- Strong knowledge of dog breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques
- Ability to work independently and must be reliable and punctual
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for animals
- Physical ability to handle dogs and stand for extended periods
