Northern Districts Physiotherapy & Sports Clinic is currently seeking a registered Remedial Massage Therapists to join our fast-growing team. We are seeking a highly skilled, passionate and energetic remedial massage therapist. The hours are quite flexible from Monday – Saturday and can be set or variable, we are also open to alternative employment conditions for e.g. contractor, full time or casual.

Working within a friendly, professional and team environment, successful applicants will see a variety of clientele from elite athletes, sporting teams and weekend warriors.

To be considered for this role you will need to have the following:

• Diploma/Certificate IV level qualification or equivalent
• Association membership with a reputable association (e.g. AAMT, ATMS, AMT, or ANTA)
• Professional indemnity and public liability insurance up to $10mil
• Health fund provider recognition with all private health funds
• Australian citizenship is required for this position

• Excellent manual therapy skills

• Development of professional relationships with referring doctors, physiotherapists, other allied health professionals and personal trainers
• Enthusiasm, motivation and professionalism to self-development; and Excellent knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Experience dealing with all types of clients (sports, elderly, )

• Interest in expanding knowledge base
• Great work ethic
• Works well as part of a team as well as on your own
• Great communication and customer service skills

The successful applicant(s) will be provided with a ready to go caseload, yes there is a case load of patients ready to go and online bookings available Previous therapists were booked out months in advance. Due to the current caseload, we recommend you have a minimum 1 year of private practice experience, however new graduates welcome to apply. We pride ourselves on being progressive and always improving, so professional development and training is provided. Many of our clients are gym goers/athletes so experience with deep tissue and sports massage is essential.

As part of your ongoing professional development within our organisation it is recommended that you attend ongoing in services, workshops and tutorials as well as private professional development opportunities.
